Our entrants have helped us to raise lots more for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance

September 1, 2026

On the 19th of July we held our annual David Warren classic car tour, it is in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

We have raised now raised £13,293.62 for this amazing charity, from our classic tours, this is something we are all incredibly proud of!

We started in Glastonbury at the Abbey tea rooms for a divine breakfast, Mary Parker and her staff donate all the food and their time to this great cause to help us raise as much as possible, a huge thank-you must go to them. They have contributed hundreds to this donation once again. We had signing on, tour packs issued and a chin wag before setting off on a 70 mile route of Somerset. This year the weather was great, not too hot so everyone survived with no air con. Once signed on and refreshed, everyone set off on the amazing route which Chris and Sue House had spent a long time planning.

The finish this year was at the Quantock Lakes, we all enjoyed a lovely carvery lunch. We tried to keep the cars together at the finish venue, but most places cant accommodate so many cars in one area. This year was a full entry with reserves, which gave us such a humble feeling as last year we didn't even get a full entry.

Well done to Steven and Vicki Morgan for winning the car of the day award, your escort was a cracker and we loved it! The car of the day is always chosen by the finish venue which means it varies each year.

Thank you for all of you who entered, some of you donated more than the entrants fee too, which was lovely. We hope you had a lovely day and enjoyed all the celebrations, we cant wait to raise some more money next year.

Thanks,

BOSMC
